1. Solution Description

Smart home background music system: It is a smart home product installed in the home to bring a warm and romantic environment to your home with harmonious background music. Because the background music system is usually integrated with home decoration, it is full of mystery and magic.

The smart home background music system is no longer just to satisfy the need for sound, but to consider more personalized music and diversified music for different scenarios. It has multiple program sources, multiple zones and zone music control and selection.

There is a two-story villa. Because the owner likes to listen to music, he hopes to listen to music anytime and anywhere at home. It is required to install independent music control systems in each bedroom, dining room, living room, recreation room, study, courtyard and garden, so as to manage and control all areas on the mobile phone, as shown below.

Based on the customer’s needs and drawings, we choose our smart home music amplifier host DM838/DM858. The user in each area can use DM838 or DM858 to control the playback and the volume of the background music, and connect it to the Internet to play Internet radio and Internet music. It can realize independent control of different rooms and play different music at any time, which can not only satisfy people of different ages, but further facilitate people’s lives. Also, the user can use the APP Control X on the mobile phone to centrally control and manage DM858 and DM838 in all areas, making the home environment more comfortable and humane.

1. The unique intelligent design of DM838 and DM858 in the system makes each area independent. When the owner is in different areas, he can open the mobile APP or power amplifier host anytime and anywhere when he wants to listen to music. Turn on the switch, and then you can listen to the music, and select songs, select FM radio stations, switch audio sources, etc.
2. Support individual classification of songs: you can arrange songs according to your own preferences and set them into different files, such as classical music, ethnic music, popular music, etc. for playing in each independent zone.
3. The user can rename each zone name and audio source name according to their own preferences through the mobile phone APP software for easy identification. Each room can be controlled independently without interference, and the audio source can be turned on or off at any time.
4. It has RJ45 Ethernet interface, which is connected to wired network or wireless router. It can support wireless control by the iPhone, Android smart phone, tablet computer and other mobile devices, and download the most popular songs from the network at any time.
5. Support DLAN protocol for wireless push. Through Wi-Fi connection, it can push the music (including online music) in the smart phone/tablet and the songs in the network hard disk to the host for playing.
6. DM838/DM858 supports timing control function, for example: automatically turn on music at 7:00 in the morning to wake up the owner.
7. Support RS-485 interface, which can be integrated with other control systems.

6. Example of Apple IOS System Operation

1. Enter “Room” interface. Select room (zone) firs and choose songs in the audio source to play music. You can set up volume, pitch, play mode, previous song, pause/play, next song, and music list (only exist when audio source is SD/USB, network radio or network music).

2. To customize room group. Enter “Room” interface and you will be able to put multiple room (zone) into one group. Then you can control music playback for the whole group. If different devices are put into one group, you can only adjust volume.

3. Audio source selection. Enter “Find” interface, then you can play songs in selected zone.

4. Settings

On/Off switch. One button to control the open and close of all zones.

Room list: you can select to display or hide rooms (zones).
Device information: you can check IP address of each room.
Language: you can change language.
Add Radio Stations: you can add radios from different country.
Module Binding: you can customize this function. You can play same music for  modules that are bound together.

Audio sources rename: you can change name of audio sources and modules.
