PoE170VF ONVIF Horn Speaker Solution for Factories
I. System Overview
● With the continuous development of factory automation and intelligence, the need for video surveillance systems, alarm systems, and internal factory communication has become increasingly important. ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum), an open network video interface standard, supports interoperability among different manufacturers, enabling seamless integration of various surveillance devices and alarm systems on a single platform. In industrial environments, the application of ONVIF horns (alarm horns or speaker systems connected via a network) can significantly enhance factory safety, production efficiency, and emergency response capabilities.
Project Requirements
● Interoperability: Ensures seamless connectivity between audio and video devices from different manufacturers.
● Remote Control and Management: Allows remote control of audio broadcasts, alarm triggering, and other operations via a centralized management platform.
● Real-Time Alarms and Feedback: Integrates with surveillance systems to promptly issue audio-visual alarms and convey information through audio during abnormal events.
II. Solution Configuration 1 (Integration with MAG6000 System)
● The DSPPA network PA system enables zoned, targeted, sectional, and all-area paging broadcasts. In emergency situations, the monitoring and command center, in conjunction with the surveillance system, can guide emergency evacuations at the incident site through broadcast paging, facilitating timely handling and reducing losses of personnel and property. This approach not only simplifies the system and reduces costs but also significantly improves the efficiency of the monitoring room.
● The audio device terminal POE170VF and IP cameras are within the same network. By installing ONVIF-supported cameras, factory production lines and equipment operation can be monitored in real time, and potential safety hazards (such as equipment overheating, abnormal vibration, etc.) can be detected. When the camera detects movement or events, it sends a network linkage trigger signal to the main server. The server then automatically plays pre-set or recorded audio through the POE170VF to make announcements at the site, ensuring timely response to emergencies or hazardous situations.

II. Solution Configuration 2 (Integration with DSP9000 System)
● DSPPA's DSP9000 Network PA & Intercom System integrates the networked public address system and SIP intercom system into a unified communication platform. This system is simple to set up and highly reliable. Among its components, the POE horn speaker POE170VF, based on open standards, supports Power over Ethernet (PoE+), can be directly connected to standard IP networks, and easily integrates with your VMS or SIP-based communication system. It is automatically triggered through the DSP9000 system host, IP cameras, image sensors, or motion detection video systems to play clear pre-set voice messages or live voice notifications.
● ONVIF-compatible network cameras and recorders can be used for real-time monitoring of factory interiors and surrounding areas. The ONVIF protocol can also be integrated with access control systems to monitor entry and exit points through network video devices. In cases of abnormal access (e.g., unauthorized personnel attempting to enter sensitive areas), warnings can be issued via the POE170VF, while video recording is simultaneously conducted.
