DSPPA PA System Applied to the Haixin Bridge in Guangzhou

On the morning of 25th June, the first pedestrian bridge connecting the both sides of the Pearl River in Guangzhou - Haixin Bridge, is officially completed and opened.



The first pedestrian bridge connecting the both sides of the Pearl River in Guangzhou is contracted by Guangzhou City Construction Investment Group Company Limited, and assisted by DSPPA for the audio system construction of the entire pedestrian bridge.

The pedestrian bridge started construction of the trestle platform on 15th May, 2020, and it was successfully closed on 8th February, 2021. A number of on-site tests were carried out before completion on 25th June. With the efficient operation of DSPPA equipment, we can actively ensure the smooth operation of the Haixin Bridge!





The Haixin Bridge stretches all the way from the Canton Tower in the south to the Ersha Island in the north, becoming an important link connecting Guangzhou’s north-south axis. The length of the footpath on the east side of the bridge is about 500 meters, the length of the footpath on the west side is about 270 meters, and the main span is 198 meters. It is the largest and widest pedestrian bridge with oblique arch and curved beam in the world.

Due to the long and wide bridge of the Haixin Bridge, DSPPA network public address system has been adopted to realize the automatic playing of background music in different periods, creating a good viewing environment, and realizing the zone broadcast and unified management in the landscape.

The Haixin Bridge has set up a dual digital control center for the north and south banks of the bridge. The main control center of the Canton Tower on the south bank is equipped with DSPPA network public address main and backup system for automatic switching and stable operation of the system in case of emergencies. The sub-control center on the north bank and the Haixinsha Asian Olympic Games Park are equipped with the remote control software of the system to realize the same functional operation as the main control center and remote control.

DSPPA network public address system has been applied to the construction of the Haixin Bridge project, which solves the problem of the difficulty in long-distance transmission of audio programs on the bridge. It has functions such as emergency warning and evacuation, daily broadcasting, and shouting and paging.

With stylish appearance, clear and bright sound with high quality, DSPPA grass speakers on the scene can broadcast audio and play background music to render the atmosphere of the entire bridge, immersing visitors in the beautiful scenery.
