We are fortunate to provide the MAG6000 Network PA System to the University of Brunei Darussalam. Earlier this month, we have finished the commissioning and put the system into use. As of now, it is working well as expected with impressive results.

Project Background

Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD; University of Brunei Darussalam) is the first university in Brunei. It was established in 1985 and has since become the largest university in the country in terms of student enrollment and curriculum offered.

In respect of the needs for background music, business broadcast and emergency broadcast in 6 buildings of the University, it is recommended to adopt the MAG6000 IP Network PA System to divide them into 6 zones:

1) SBE - UBD SCHOOL OF BUSINESS & ECONOMICS

2) FASS - FACULTY OF ARTS AND SOCIAL STUDIES

3) CLT - CENTRAL LECTURE THEATRE

4) SHBIE - SULTAN HASSANAL BOLKIAH INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION

5) ADMIN - ADMINISTRATION

6) ILIA - INSTITUTE For LEADERSHIP, INNOVATION & ADVANCEMENT, in a bid to bring the broadcast in different zones under control with effective management.

MAG6000 IP Network PA System takes the advantage of the existing LAN/WAN (like the Internet) to speed up the construction, save cable laying, and combine different networks together, making it more flexible with farther transmission, based on DSPPA protocol and compatible with TCP/IP protocol.
