Solution Overview
● The hotel is a multi-functional venue that integrates accommodation, dining, entertainment, meetings, and more. Traditional broadcast systems have certain limitations in areas such as audio transmission, remote control, and resource management. As the demand for intelligent and modern services in hotels increases, adopting a network broadcast system can not only improve broadcast quality but also provide a more comprehensive and convenient service experience through the integration of other smart devices.
● Network broadcasting (IP broadcasting) is an audio transmission and control technology based on IP networks, allowing audio signals to be transmitted via local area networks, wide area networks, or even the cloud. This breaks the limitations of traditional broadcast systems and achieves deep integration of audio broadcasting, scheduling management, and service automation.
Design Objectives
● Enhanced broadcast audio quality: By utilizing digital audio transmission and device configuration, the audio quality of internal hotel broadcasts is improved, avoiding issues such as unstable sound quality or noise interference common with traditional broadcast equipment.
● Convenient and flexible management: Remote monitoring and control of broadcast equipment allow hotel managers to perform unified scheduling, scheduled broadcasting, and other operations.
● Diverse service offerings: The system supports multiple broadcast modes, including background music broadcasts, emergency broadcasts, and notification broadcasts, catering to various occasions and needs.
● Elevated guest experience: Personalized and real-time broadcast content can be provided in public areas and guest rooms, offering guests better service and informational support.
● Cost savings: Centralized management through IP network-based devices reduces the investment and maintenance costs associated with hardware equipment.

3. Solution Configuration
1. Information distribution and zone management: Using the background music broadcasting system, community notices, information broadcasts, and other messages can be disseminated across hotel floors and specific areas.
2. Local management of functional areas: The system supports both centralized and local control. The DSP9000 allows for centralized management of the entire system, as well as local control for individual zones. For example, devices such as the DM858, DM839, and DM838II installed in hotel rooms allow users to play their preferred music, set timed reminders, and more.
3. Intercom help function: Visual intercom panels like the DSP9326B can be installed on hotel floors or rooms, enabling intercom communication between terminal areas and the hotel management center. Emergency assistance requests, information feedback, and other matters can be promptly communicated to the management center for handling. Additionally, devices such as the DM837, DM838II, and DM839 installed in rooms can not only play music but also allow intercom communication between different rooms within the same hotel, as well as communication with the intercom paging station DSP9312B in the management center for help requests.
4. Notification broadcast at the management center: A remote paging station such as the DSP9312 can be set up in the server room, control center, or hotel front desk, enabling emergency broadcasts and information announcements to any area or room of the hotel.
5. Emergency broadcast: In the event of an emergency, the system can quickly broadcast emergency information and other functions of the public address system (such as background music or general broadcasts) will be paused. With a one-click alarm, pre-recorded emergency messages are quickly activated to facilitate crowd evacuation and guide people to safety. Normal broadcasting functions will automatically or manually resume once the emergency broadcast status is cleared.
6. Fire linkage broadcast: In emergency situations, the system ensures fire prevention and disaster response by automatically activating volume controllers in certain broadcast areas. With a one-click alarm, emergency sirens are triggered to alert people to evacuate immediately, ensuring the safety of all individuals by guiding them to safety and preventing potential accidents.
7. Zone broadcast and sub-zone control: In hotels, the IP broadcasting system often needs to support multiple broadcast areas. The DSP919WH volume controller can precisely control audio output in each zone, allowing independent or synchronized broadcasts across different areas. For example, notifications can be played in the hotel lobby while different content is broadcast in the corridors, ensuring that the broadcast content meets the specific needs of each area.
